What working with us looks like
1Pass is based in Woodstock, Cape Town, and we work with small business teams right across South Africa. That means our people need to be clear thinkers, calm under pressure and comfortable working with clients who are busy, short on time and often juggling a few systems at once.
Our team is hands on. Some days involve setting up password vaults and access groups, other days are about training a new administrator, helping with a migration or checking that leavers have been removed properly. You will be working on real business problems, not just theory, and you will often speak directly with owners, office managers and IT contacts.
Roles we hire for
We do not keep a fixed vacancy list, but we regularly look for people in roles such as implementation, customer support, security, training and operations. If you have experience in software support, account onboarding, identity and access management or client training, we would like to hear from you.
- Implementation and setup support for new clients
- Customer success and account support
- Security focused technical work
- Training and onboarding coordination
- Operations and process support
The kind of people who fit here
We work best with people who enjoy structured work and know how to explain technical steps in plain language. A strong candidate is usually organised, careful with details and able to keep clients informed without making things sound complicated.
- You can communicate clearly with non technical users
- You handle confidential information properly
- You follow process, but can still think for yourself
- You are comfortable working remotely when needed
- You understand that small businesses need practical solutions, not long reports
Because our clients are in different provinces and often work during load-shedding or after hours catch-up, flexibility and reliability count. A good attitude goes a long way here.
How we support new team members
New starters get a proper introduction to our service model, internal processes and the way we work with clients. We make time for product training, shadowing and regular check-ins so you understand the full picture before taking on more responsibility.
Depending on the role, you may learn about security reviews, permission mapping, offboarding processes, admin training or password migration. We expect people to keep learning because our clients rely on us for accurate setup and steady support, not guesswork.
- Structured onboarding and internal training
- Clear handovers and documented processes
- Direct support from experienced team members
- Opportunities to build skills across different client types
Where you may work from
Our base is in Woodstock, Cape Town, but our work reaches Johannesburg, Pretoria, Durban, Gqeberha, Stellenbosch and Century City, plus remote clients nationwide. Some roles are fully remote, while others may need occasional in person time in Cape Town or client-facing support by video call.
What matters most is that you can stay organised and responsive, whether you are working from home, from the office or supporting a client in another province. We keep things practical and expect the same from the people who join us.
